Pru flinched so hard she visibly shrunk in the eyes of her pursuer. She hardly even turned, her frame shaking like a leaf in the winter, clinging on to it's tree for dear life. She got a glance at the blonde orderly noticing it was the towns cardshark. She liked him. But then again he was a man. And a man approaching her more then six feet, she didn't like. At all. But she was too scared to move or even say anything, panic rose in her while she clutched onto Maximus for dear life, trying to protect him from whatever, because men closing in in her were dangerous. All of them.
A loud thud from Dean's room broke Perrys focus on her though, and she used the quick moment to make a run for it. It was only a millisecond and the moment she had started to run, she could hear him shout for her and take after, but she was lighter and smaller and would be able to fit where he didn't and she would run longer than him, and if not she would run as long and as fast as she could until she'd collapse. She knew she could, she had before. She skidded past a corner and made her way towards an opening for the ventilation system. She wasn't planning on climbing through it, only get deep enough for the cardshark and his broad shoulders not to reach her.

Detective Silas Monroe sat in a hard wooden chair in the corner of Evelyns room, he was a unremarkable looking man, early 30s, stubble, black hair and a tired face which made him look older than he was. He wore an plain blue suit. He sighed and rose to his feet when the girl collapsed on the ground and started muttering. He had been speaking to her only moments before when she had seemingly forgotten that he was there, and he had been so close to getting answers from her too.
"Miss Darcy... Miss Darcy. Evelyn!" he gently but firmly grasped her frail shoulder and tried to distract her from her delusions. This was evidently not a good day for the poor girl, usually she was one of the more lucid of his clients. "Do you remember what we were talking about Evelyn? You were telling me about the night your fiance died."

The fallen Psychologist shook his head and focused on the orderly holding Dean. Okay good, he's calmed down. The man felt something drip down and slide down his nose. What was that? He wiped at it, blood. Well it's not that bad; a little blood was the least of his problems. The man stood up straight and walked over to the orderly. "Sedate and restrain him, but PLEASE be gentle," Hindrick put an emphasize on the please. He had heard how paranoid Nicholas was and didn't want to give the boy even more things to be afraid of.
The orderly looked down at the doctor. "Yer bleedin'." "Yes, I know. Just please make she he doesn't hurt himself." "Alright then Doc." Hindrick sighed and wiped his forehead, probably making the blood look even worse. Great, Pennyfeather was gonna have his ass. The doctor stuck his head out just in time to see Prudence run by. He gave a confused glance to the orderly following her, Perry was it? Yes it was Perry. Today was an absolute mess. He looked to follow Pru down the hall and saw Rey sitting on the floor covered in his own blood. What? How did he even- Hindrick sighed and conked his head against the door frame. He needed a break or more staff.
The man felt like anything he was bound to do would be useless but he was going to do it anyway. He turned to the orderly and barked a few orders and then called out to Perry. "Please get Prudence before she hides! Don't take the rat, let her have it," he then left the room and made a beeline for the bleeding Rey and the girl staring at him. He leaned down next to the boy and frowned. "How did you mange this Rey?" The man grabbed for a handkerchief and used it to wipe some of the blood away without causing any harm. He could tell that the nose was badly injured and the boy looked too catatonic for his likes though. Why did all this have to happen today? So much at once. He looked up to see Evelyn, at least she was out of her room for once and not drawing on the walls.... That was a mild improvement.
Pennyfeather was going to have his neck by this point. Everything had gone to hell.

It all happened so fast that Perry hardly had any time to react. As careful as he tried to be, the poor woman was still frightened away and bolted off faster than Perry could run. He curses under his breath at the distraction that caused him to lose her but does his best to catch up with her anyway.
before he could turn the corner she went past, he looks back as he was called out by Hindrick and gives him a quick wave in response. "Yes sir!" he calls back.
she was already squeezing herself into the vent by the time he rounded the corner, causing an irritated groan to come from him. It would take forever to fish her back out. "Prudence, come on now, not this again..." he says while walking the rest of the way to the spot she squeezed in.
He sits cross-legged in front of the vent, frowning at Pru as he looked in on her. "I'm not going to do anything to you. Can you please come out of there? It's really dangerous..." he says, trying not to sound too irritated with her. "You can keep the mouse, alright? I promise."

Saying nothing, Rey shrank away slightly from Hindrick as he leaned down, his eyes wavering a moment as if he couldn't decide what to look at. Whatever he settled on seemed to be attached to the floor. When asked about the nature of his injury, he made no real response other than to wince and don a decidedly guilty face, going from 'lost puppy' to 'scolded puppy'. Hopefully the blood still on the door from that initial burst would be enough to explain the situation, and the swelling ankle, when discovered, would further the point. Otherwise, however, he did not-- or was it 'could not'?-- do anything more to signal his awareness of Hindrick.

Dean was nearly calm for a moment. He whimpered, at most. You know what to do from this point, don't you? Yes. Are you going to follow through? .... Yes. Do exactly as we tell you. You can save you, Dean. He had to try. How did he know the voices weren't lying? As he listened they eased off, became bearable. Then the man, the one he had hit, the doctor, he spoke. He was leaving. Leaving? Panic rose, his chest convulsed, and Dean screamed again. "No! Don't-- Please, don't! Don't leave me with him! Please! I-- Help me! Please!" He was defying them, the voices. They screamed at him in retaliation, clawing at him and punishing his mind for speaking, for not following the plan and the instructions they had given them. Not expecting this, Dean screamed once more, oblivious in his thrashing. But he was weak... so weak....
Before he completely understood what had happened, he had stopped fighting. For the most part anyway. He whimpered and writhed in the orderly's firm grip, his mind and wit becoming dull and the voices ebbing and flowing as they fought the sedative.
In the end, they lost.

Evelyn laid coiled on the floor, her body flinching hard as a hand was placed on her shoulder. Her eyes reveled large pupils, nearly turning her bright yellow iris's to almost a brown. It was probably the most emotion they held in several days, if not weeks as she looked up to the detective in distress. Her pupils narrowed back into their small almost invisible state as she recognized the man crouching over her before she shut her eyes away when he asked her a question. Evelyn.. Evelyn Darcy.. that was whom she was her memories started to return to her "Si..Silas ah.." she muttered before making a noise that was similar to a muffled screech.
Memories, so many, so many memories mixing together, she cant remember. Suddenly she sat up quickly and shoved her back into the wall behind her, her hands holding each side of her head, fingers intertwined with locks of her own hair. Every time she blinked her surroundings changed from the wooden inn to the white clean halls of somewhere else. "Ah.. ah can't remember.. Richard, I cant... remember" she muttered clawing at her scalp with her nails. "A gun.. a rifle.. he was looking for me.. I was.. I cant remember Silas" she stated making a soft sharp noise as she went into a breakdown due to her depression, tears streamed from her eyes and dripped from her chin to the floor. "Silas.. where am I why can't I.. everything keeps changing when I blink" she said staring hard at the white floor.

"IT'S A PROTOCERATOPS", the ginger retorted angrily, pushing her lower lip forward in a pout. She didn't want to get out. The cardshark was a nice guy, but not today. Today was a mess. Everyone else was in it. Everyone was tense. Today it was just not the day. It was the time to sit in that shaft, caressing the little Protoceratops and stay until it all evened out. This time the Sheriff was going to have to plug the vent apart screw by screw if they wanted to get her out. She glanced backwards into the darkness. Only inches behind her went a tube downwards. It would be so easy to just skip that gap, crawl over it and descend into the system of tubes, seeing where it'd bring her. Maybe outside. Maybe to the roof. Maybe on top of that wild canyon just outside Gwangi. Maybe before the Saloon. When Perry kept calling her more urgently she turned her gaze forward again, staring out of the dark of the vent with wide eyes like a cat. She was hunched over on her knees, her back pressed against the narrow shafts ceiling, she was probably the only person finding comfort in such a position. Yet the certainty that no one could reach her was more than comfort, so she happily kept were she were, carefully caressing her Protoceratops and dreaming of that place where she could dance, and sing, where she looked pretty and where she still knew how to smile to cover up.

Silas sighed deeply again, it was going to be difficult to get anything out of her when she was in this panicked state, He needed to calm her down. “Come on let's sit Evelyn.” he said gently and led her back into her room, sitting her down on her bed and seating himself opposite her on his chair. “Just close your eyes, concentrate on my voice.” he took his hand off her shoulder slowly and waited for her to calm down a little before he continued. “Now you said Richard was looking for you? Why was he looking for you?”
----
Henry meanwhile was in his room having an imaginary argument with his bedside table when he was distracted by the sound of a commotion in the ventilation shafts above his room. “Ah'll take care of you later.” he said to the table threateningly and stepped out of the room with all his cowboy swagger... somewhat ruined by his asylum clothes and the uncontrollable twitching in his yellow eyes. He was also under the impression that he had an invisible tophat which he would tip at people when he greeted them.
“Is Pru in the vents again Perry? Well move out of the way yer bastard she's terrified of you!” he complained, pushing the other man out of the way confidently. “Prudence Sweetheart? It's ok it's just me Henry.” he cooed before Perry could do anything else, “I won't let him do nothin' to yer I promise. Come on out little bird.”
Henry was slightly delusional about the nature of his relationship with Pru.

Hindrick cringed at the youth's screams. He didn't want to leave dean there, but the asylum was a mess. Patients wandering the halls and hurting themselves. Where the hell was Potter? Why wasn't he doing his damned job? Hindrick looked back down at Rey who was completely gone. The boy had been lucid enough to get out of is bed, but hurt himself in the process. Hindrick gently picked up Rey's face and turned it side to side to see if there was any more damage. So far it looked like a broken nose. Great, this kid had just broken it a few weeks ago, now it was back to healing. "Come on Rey. let's get you to the infirmary," he mumbled and bent down to pick the boy.
It was then when he noticed Reinhardt was holding his foot strange. Oh no, did he mess up his ankle too? Hindrick placed the youth on the floor again and inspected his ankle. But that was interrupted with he heard a screech and then Henry. The Psychologist shot a glance up in Perry and pru's direction. No, that was bad. "Henry! GET BACK IN YOUR ROOM!" The doctor was usually more patient but today was just utter chaos.
A crackling suddenly sounded throughout the whole asylum. The noise pitched to an ear-shattering volume then stopped. Hindrick felt his stomach drop out and stopped everything he was doing. He was in so. much. trouble. A voice called over the intercom sending chills down his spine. "Dr Rospev. I would like to see you in my office. PLEASE come as soon as you are able." the intercom shut off with a sharp static thunk.
The doctor sat there, eyes wide and hands still around Rey's pant leg in an attempt to look at the boy's injury. Did that just happen? Did she just call for him? No, no way. Rospev looked around and saw the orderly staring at him from Dean's room. Shit, she did just do that. Shaking he stood and called to the orderly. "Can you bring Reinhardt to the infirmary please... I need to go." He pulled at his collar and wiped his forehead again, only coming away with more blood.
"I-I'll be back Reinhardt," he mumbled and took of towards the long climb that lead to Pennyfeather's office. He was fired or worse. There's no way this was good.

Today was definitely not one of his better days. He wasn't sure how he was going to get Pru out of the vent this time, he could only hope she wouldn't venture further and disappear from view. He was about to continue trying to reason with her until suddenly being shoved out of the way, the surprise of it causing him to fall over on his side.
Perry looks up at Henry with frustration, mentally cursing his bad luck. The last thing he needed was to try taking care of two patients at once. "Henry, I can handle this. Just go back--" he was soon interrupted by Hindrick who finished his sentence for him and caused the blonde to jump in surprise.
He glances over where the flustered doctor was while he pushes himself back up on his knees, flinching again at the sound of the intercom going off. That wasn't a good sign at all, but thankfully he wasn't the one being called to Pennyfeather's office this time.
Perry looks back to Henry once Hindrick left and he crosses his arms. "Go on then, we've all got enough to deal with today, it would be better if you just stayed in your room for now before anymore trouble happens." he says firmly yet softly, still trying to be at least a little pleasant towards him.

With chaos reigning all around the Gwangi asylum, it was probably a relief to the Orderly when Reinhardt turned out to be quiet and complacent in nature. There was no fuss made on his part all along the short journey down the hall and upstairs to the medical wing. He seemed to know the route by now, no wonder seeing as he was almost constantly being dragged into the infirmary for a broken bone, a chipped tooth or (rarely) stitches when the rare mood struck him to chew at his knuckles and fingers. He went the right way without more than a touch on the shoulder or hand to signal where they were off to, some abstract memory guiding him along with minimal herding from the orderly supervising him.
The same instinct drove him to lay quietly while his ails were seen to, and to stay laying when a half hour later the effort of putting him back together was good and done; from where he rested, he could still hear his fellow asylum residents wreaking havoc. Except that was wrong, he was on the roof enjoying the afternoon sun, and the people below were visitors, and he wasn't up here because he needed to be put somewhere out of the way where he couldn't injure himself. No, he was here because he preferred to be alone, and he was willingly up here taking in the summer heat with his hat tipped over his eyes and his hands folded over his chest.

Having been left on his bed with the restraints that normally kept him, Dean was left to nothing. Nothing in his mind, anyway. While the voices took their forced leave, thanks completely to sedative, the sudden emptiness was enigmatical. He could feel himself fading though, loosing what consciousness he had left over. Numb was his mind. The confusion he had panicked over seemed less urgent. Perhaps he could think now. Perhaps he could find sense. Before... Before what?
Did he know what would happen? This seemed such a familiar setting.... So cold.... He would... He would let go... That's what it did. It made him... He was... relaxed. No voices. Forced complacency.
The lull drove him mad. The ceiling...at had been so while just a moment ago. Now it was dark and spattered with mud and dirt, and who knew what else or how it even got to be there. Sore, tired old muscles moved to roll him over onto his side, blinking. The bed, no longer cold and sterile and empty. He reached out a hand for her, shaking slightly, brushing his coarse and worn fingers over his wife's soft skin.
Was this one the real world? This one, where he was old and scared and battered and beaten and mute and... and loved.
It didn't matter if it was the real world. Dean wanted this one.

The small ginger shrunk yet again when Henry barked in his usual Wild West demeanor into her shaft. HER shaft. How dared that disgusting macho come near. Henry had even larger distances to keep from her. Forty feet would be good. Or more. Actually Pru felt like coiling up whenever she saw him, be he a mile away it wouldn't matter. Henry was an incarnation of the men she dreaded, advancing on her, calling her things, full of themselves and so disgusting. Disgusting. DISGUSTING. She whined quietly not just contemplating to crawl backwards anymore. Todays was crazy. It made her brave, maybe also a bit desperate. She carefully pushed herself backwards, placing one foot on the far edge of the abyss beneath, the other on the edge beneath her. Then she carefully placed Max in her coats pocket, tying it around her thin waist. All preparations done she slid her upper body over her leg, to of the shaft, until she could stand in the junction. The Abyss beneath, dark shaft on the one side of her legs, Perry shouting on the other. And then there was that space above. She stretched as far as possible until her fingertips reached the next edge. Taking a deep breath she hooked only her fingertips on the edge, then in one quick movement stepped against the sides of the narrow shaft, pushed upwards and managed to hook both her palms on the edge. One foot pressed against the thin wall before her, the other pushing against the one behind her, she dared to glance downwards into the blackness of the abyss. The adrenalin and fear that hit her, let her release a small, crazy laugh. "It's just like climbing the Canyon wall", she told Max in a panting whisper, "That time when I found those gigantic tarantulas cave. Haha." Soon she felt her arms giving in to her weight and proceeded to slightly push up with her legs while heaving herself up further with her arms. It took a while and her feet slipped and kicked into emptiness more than once, but eventually she lay flat on her stomach, breathing heavily but happy. She crawled the system a bit further to get away from the junction, then stopped to pet Maximus. "Well, that went kind of eaAAAH!" She hadn't realized she had accidentally crawled onto one of the thinner plates located in the ceilings. It couldn't even hold her weightless frame and gave in without further protest. The Girl doubled over, causing her to fall sideways towards the ground taking a half empty shelf, only consistent of cloth and towels with her.
She moaned in shock and pain when the towels rained down on her, sitting up a bit too quickly for her head, she felt for Maximus, but he was only chirping in protest. As her paranoia kicked in she started to scan her surroundings thrashing to get out of the mess of clothes. She stopped when she turned around to find people staring at her. People in white. And there were beds. It must've been the infirmary she had crashed into. Realizing all the people present were ones she liked AND at least 6 feet ahead she grinned and waved. "Hi Missus Doctor Winchester, hi Miss Doctor Thatcher." Not to forget the apathetic patient staring at her with a slight frown, she grinned widely. "HI REY!"

Henry shot a glare in the direction of the Hindrick when he heard his name but ignored him. He was unconvinced by Perry either but since the man was being polite to him, he decided not to punch him in the mouth. "Well ah was just offering my help..." he tried, squinting into the vent at the sound of rattling coming from inside "I aint causing more trouble... see I think she's coming out now.... ooooh no... she's climbed up the shaft, playing hard to get I reckon, that little Minx." He chuckled, moved away from the vent and leaned against the wall to light an imaginary cigerette.
