While both men flopped against something for a breather, the girl crouched next to the doctors' bed in order to get a look on him. She used the opportunity of the move to wipe the sweat of her own forehead, simultaneously she checked the dent - certain it would grow beautifully into a huge bump - and covered it with her fringe the second after.
She tried to get a proper glance at him, which took a lot of tilting her head, since not only was the mans face sideways, the others had not bothered to gently lay him down on his back, instead they'd let him flop down face first. Such made his face even more squishy and weird, and although she squinted she could not tell whether the man was okay or not.
She turned towards Rei with a frown, "Shouldn't we wake him? Or something? Can he be woken? What is usually done when a large man faints?" Another apathetic look despite the panting was her answer. She started believing she really had to slow herself down gravely if she was to ever have something comparable to a conversation with this incarnation of impassionism forming in one ginger man with beautiful brown eyes that stared her down in an awfully uncomfortable way. On the same time she noticed that there was nothing she enjoyed more, someone staring while actually looking as if he thought about what she said. Staring back was unusual for her though, it made her a little twitchy and she couldn't help but notice every single oh so minor detail on her opposites face. Like the light red shimmering through his right Iris, the white spots softly merging with his skin tone, as well a s the freckles sprawled over his cheekbones and nose, the slight stubble forming on his edgy jawline and for Christ's sake if only he would answer so she could focus on the actual problem at hand!

The unconscious man lay on the old bed in a very uncomfortable position but made no indication he was awake or alive other than a light snore. The room was clean and orderly but was very sparely stocked. The few personal effects of the man on the bed were a few changes of clothing, a large pile of notebooks, brass knuckles, a straight razor, a small medical kit, and a lantern. If they thought the man was rich, they were wrong.
Alaois walked into the room after the three and peered at them all. They all looked out of breath and exhausted. He snorted, it wasn't that much of a walk. With a grumbling cheep he climbed up in the bed and nosed his master. The man was at such an odd angle. Alaois fluffed and looked back at the trio. The men where too busy being tired and the girl was too busy... staring at the redhaired one. Alaois cheeped loudly, but got no attention.
He grumbled and put his little claws on his master in an attempt to roll him over. But he was a ten pound raptor trying o push a 210 pound man over. This would not work. he sat back and lashed his tail about as his thought process worked itself out. Ah, that would work. The little raptor turned and hopped off the bed, landed in Pru's lap and hopped out. Where did that thing go? The thing that master used. He cheeped and wandered over to the desk. With some effort the little raptor climbed up the wood while leaving a good amount of claw marks. Once on the desk he looked about, looking for that thing his master drilled into his head. It was a big fabric bag that had a red mark on it.
The dinosaur had to walk past Ambrose to find it, but the medkit was just where Hindrick always left it. Alaois gripped the fabric and worked at the button that kept it together. After some chewing he managed to to open the kit. Sticking his head into the opening he began to pull things out. Bandages, rubbing alcohol, needle and thread and finally smelling salts. Hindrick had been clever enough to have put a label on the important things that Alaois would need to get for him if incapacitated. A drawing of a shiny red apple adorned the label. The raptor inspected the package and it's label, making sure it was the right thing.
He picked the package up in his mouth and hopped off the desk, letting his wings "fly" him to ground. Well fall is more like it. The little beast landed in a heap on the floor and looked mildly confused at the fact he could now see the ceiling. With some grace he righted himself, package still in mouth, and walked over to Pru. She seemed to be the cleverest of the group. the package landed in the girl's lap and Alaois stared at her, expecting she'd know what to do with them. When she did not move he cheeped and cocked his head to the side.

Reinhardt was about to say something when he accidentally glanced in Hindrick's direction in instinctive reaction to one of his snores. There he saw, among all of his other assorted belongings, some questionable objects. "...Why's a doctor need brass knuckles?" it was an empty question, which was why he was a little surprised when he heard Ambrose answer from somewhere below. "What d'you know about the delicacies of medicine, splotchy? Ah happen to know many fine surgeons who use brass knuckles in their procedures." "...Really?" "Nawh," Ambrose huffed as he pulled himself into a sitting position, just in time to avoid having his face stepped on by Alaois. It was the blond who first noticed what the small dinosaur was doing, watching in a mix of fascination and disbelief as it climbed up onto the desk with an astounding amount of detectable conviction, drag the bag out and worry it with its teeth. Almost as if it was... problem solving.
By now his brother had noticed, and it could only be assumed that the girl had as well. Together, they all stared at Alaois while he began sorting through the bag with what looked like visible intent, finally recovering a package and gliding back down to the floor. Finally, with extraordinary dignity, the dinosaur presented its prize to Prudence.
"...Woah." "...Lotta effort for an animal."

Pru absentminded patted the little fluff while inspecting the little package in her lap. "Good boy, i guess." She frowned at the sign on the package, "What is that, apple pie?" The little fluff chirped, she glanced at him. "How is apple pie going to help him little one? Or is it something else?" When the fluff only tilted it's head she turned towards the men, this time purposely avoiding Reinhardt's eyes, waving the package. "Any idea what this is?" Claws started working on her knee, she looked down at the fluff, now again chirping at her. "What, do you know what it is? Well do you know how to use it?" She stared for a minute at the chirping fluff working itself up in order to communicate or so she thought. Then she eyed the Apple label again. "Then again, maybe you're just hungry", she murmured with a frown.

Alaois blinked and found himself suddenly confused. They weren't doing what they should be doing and why were they talking about apples? He would like an apple, but this was more important. An unconscious master was the worst kind! The little raptor sat on his hind legs and grumbled as his plan started to dissolve. He looked from Pru to Reinhardt to Ambrose. Why did they not know what to do? Everyone else master dealt with. They all used this nasty smelling stuff.
Alaois whined and went back to all fours. He'd have to show them what to do then. The little beast snatched the package from Pru and climbed up the bed. He walked over to his master and placed the package right next to his face and looked back at them, a look of hope on his little dinosaur face. Maybe they would get it if he walked them through it. If not then he'd have to do it himself. Oh he'd get a tasty treat then. The little raptor stared at then and then looked back at Hindrick and then returned to staring at them.
Sometimes it was a curse being an eugenics experiment.

"Ah think those'r..." Ambrose trailed off as he watched Alaois hop about frustratedly, plop the package down beside Hindrick's face and give the three of them a strangely emotional look. "...Those'r salts," "Uh, a'right," Reinhardt gave his brother a quizzical look as Ambrose got to his feet, pausing to pop his back and turn to the unconscious Russian. "Here, ah think ah get this here animal's idea," the blond said as he shooed Hindrick's raptor away with one hand, having no intention of sharing his immediate surroundings with the beast.
Plucking the package away as quickly as he could, as if he was worried that Alaois might sink his teeth into the young man's hand if he was too slow, he unwrapped the strong-smelling hartshorn with some care, curling a nostril as he did. "Rey, sit 'im up fer me for a second," he demanded. Using his free hand to hold his shirt collar up and over his nose, Ambrose set the packaging aside so as to have it available when it came time to reseal and store away the salts, removed a manageable portion and held it under the now quasi-upright Hindrick.
As a half a minute passed and nothing happened, Reinhardt finally asked in a surprisingly tentative tone for a man of his size: "Are those 'posed to do something?", a question met (unsurprisingly) with a roll of the eyes and a half-a-grimace. "Yes Rey, they will. Don't be impatient."

Carefully the small ginger shuffled sidewards to make space for the others trying to reanimate the Doctor. At this point she felt rather useless, so she carefully leaned against the desk and waited. Meanwhile the little fluff climbed via her coat to sit on her shoulder and shortly burry it's head in her face as if to comfort her. She giggled, carefully stroking it's snout. Then it started to take interest in her her, which was much to her dismay still all tousled, the bow hanging by her shoulder. The fluff didn't care, apparently it found it rather enjoyable and so it started to climb her head. She winced and slightly complained when it's claws dug into her skull, but it seemed dead set on the task, already making itself comfortable in it's newfound viewing spot. It was too big to actually fit on her head, so the upper half was clinging to her head, while the lower was draped across her neck and shoulders. She contemplated taking the fluff off her head by force, but figured she'd only end up scalping herself, so she simply let it be, wagging it's tale happily, and resumed observing the others in whether they succeeded or not.

The little raptor cheeped happily from his new spot, finding it was much better than the floor and more comfortable too. Though he eyed the two brothers; they better do this right.
The unconscious Russian twitched a bit when the salts were waved under his nose. Eventually he let out a low moan and opened one glazed eye to view the world. The second eye slid open and he stared blankly at the two brothers. he gave a slow blink and then opened is eyes gain to give a look of mild confusion and surprise. "What?" he mumbled and furrowed his brow. Why was he in his room, with these strange people? What was that smell? Salts. Yes salts. He jolted up in a proper sitting position when he suddenly realized what happened. he passed out in front of all these people.
His eyes went wide and his face went red with embarrassment. Then he realized why he passed out. The heat, lack of sustenance and no sleep in the past few days. "Oh," he muttered as the look fell of his face and left him looking very very uncomfortable. The man looked to see the girl standing there staring and then saw his raptor. Really? He was out for an hour maybe and the raptor was already using people as a step stool. "Uh... Thank you."

"Look, ah told you it'd work." Ambrose declared with audible haughtiness. "Well it didn't look like it at first," Reinhardt muttered reproachfully, though he had neither the cruelty in him nor the self assurance to respond with equal scorn. Besides, it was true; the salts did work. He could see Hindrick finally begin to come to again, one eye opening and then the other.
"Hey there," Ambrose said, gesturing widely to the room in a flagrant sweep of the arm. "And welcome to the realm of the living." from over his shoulder, Reinhardt waved his agreement and added a quiet, "It's alright, it were the least we could do 'ta bring you back here. Th' raptor did much of th' rest."

The ginger didn't know what the nervous clawing on her head meant up until the doctor gave some raspy dry coughs and she realized why he had fainted first hand. It had happened to her countless times before. "Would you like a glass of Water, Mister Doctor?" she asked, not really waiting for an answer but instead making way for a small closet, where she found a can with relatively cool water. Meanwhile she kept balancing the fluffy raptor on her head which chirped happily on her course of action and when she filled a glass from the desk she could have sworn it petted her on her head as. She gave a short frown upwards using one hand to nudge and then pet the fluff on it's head, and handing the Doctor the glass. "And don't bother", she smiled, "In the saloons I worked in, the men used to fall over like daisies in winter."

Hindrick furrowed his brows even more as the brothers started to bicker. Then he raised an eyebrow at Ambrose's motion of the room. "It's mah room," he mumbled but still read with embarrassment. Then he heard Rey's comment about Alaois. Of course the little dinosaur did something. Anything for a treat.
Suddenly a glass of water was jammed in his hands. Oh yes, that was one of his problems, he needed water. He blinked for a long second and looked up to see Prudence and Alaois staring intently at him. He wasn't sure if he should be terrified of the fact the raptor had taken a liking to the girl or grateful. The russian looked like he was in a bit of shock and waited a moment before he drank the water. This whole situation was uncomfortable. Very uncomfortable. He had just met these people and they were in his room staring at him.
He sipped the water and with shaky hands placed it down on the table by his bed. "So.... Thank you again," He started sounding very quiet, "But I am fine... You can leave now." He assumed the only reason they were here was to drop him off, not to worry about him. Alaois chirped angrily and glared at his master. The Scientist gave a look of confusion back.
The raptor cheeped and fluffed up. It was either because he hadn't gotten his treat or the fact he didn't want his new head rest to leave. Hindrick frowned and moved to get off the bed. Very bad idea. He felt his head swim and he closed his eyes. Okay, water wasn't going to fix this.

The tip of Reinhardt's nose reddened a bit. He'd not considered the fact that they were all unwelcome guests, and being the person in the room with the strongest sense of etiquette and the deepest-rooted aversion to being a disturbance, he was the first to nod, turn and make for the door. Naturally, he waited there for Prudence and his brother, staring down the hall as if something very interesting might be waiting for him on the other side of it- say, the exit.
Ambrose followed shortly after, although not before he quirked a brow, grimaced and muttered, "Well, ah can't fault you fer wantin' yer privacy, but day'm. We's just makin' sure you didn't need any more help." as he finished the catty remark, he turned to follow Reinhardt and shrugged as he did. It wasn't his problem if Hindrick intended to see to his own needs. They'd done more for him than Ambrose would have liked anyways, this solution was just fine in his eyes.

Pru had intended to tear the little raptor carefully from her head, but the fluff had already left on his own accord, jumping, taking strands with him and leaving her hair in an awful mess. She sighed and flattened the tousled mess down as much as possible, while making her way for the door. She was definitely not staying in a room alone with one man. Not anymore. And not if Rey was so politely waiting for her, she couldn't even remember the last time someone had waited for HER. A loud chirp caught her attention and she threw a look back. The Doctor didn't look like he was in the constitution he claimed, at all.
Pru frowned, touching Reinhardt's arm in order to get his attention. "I don't think we can leave him alone just yet." She watched him sway a little, hurrying back, bringing one hand against his chest in an attempt to support him, but she doubted she could actually do much about keeping him upright alone if he were to collapse again. "Mister Doctor, Sir? Are you sure you are alright? Mister Doctor? Sir?"

The little raptor sat next Hindrick as the three left. He fluffed in annoyance, mostly because Pru had let. He was starting to like here, even though she wasn't as smart as he thought. But now his worry was his master. The raptor cheeped and nosed the man, who seemed even worse for wear. Hindrick on the other hand was too busy trying to get his head to stop spinning to hear Ambrose's sassy remark. If he did, it would only cause him to avoid people more.
The man loosened is tie to help him breathe and undid his vest; his shirt opened up a bit letting a sliver of inked skin show through. It was far too hot in the damn town and in this damn room. Why was the west this hot? Suddenly that girl from before, Pru, appeared again. Her hand touched his chest and he flinched. The man rubbed his eyes and looked up at her. For some odd reason these people were worried about him. Why? He opened his mouth the ask, but was interrupted by Alaois cheeping.
The man cast an angry glance towards the raptor and managed to mumbled something that sounded like 'why are you helping me?' The only person that ever cared for him was his nanny, not even his own mother touched him. So this experience was not only bizarre but eye opening and terrifying.

Ambrose was out the door and about to hightail it out of there when he noticed his brother wasn't following. Reinhardt would have, naturally, but his attention had been caught by a light touch on his arm. His already red nose turned an even brighter shade of tomato and he was overcome with the sudden sensation of total situational alienation. Half of the reason he didn't flee was because he was dumbstruck by what was the first nonviolent human contact he'd been subject to for quite a while. Sure, he'd been punched in the face plenty of times, and he'd shook plenty hands-- but then, he'd always worn gloves to hide his thief's mark. This was not a pleasant experience, and by now enough time had passed by for any escape to be awkward at best, and utter failure at worst. "...Ah suppose that's true,"
"No it's not!" Ambrose called from down the hall. "No, it's not true, let's go home." but, for all his pleading, he wasn't about to get Reinhardt to oblige him. Too unmotivated to venture Gwangi alone, the blond grudgingly returned to the room and took up a gloomy stance in one corner, shooting his sibling glares once in a while. If Rey had any real understanding of what exactly Hindrick had muttered under his breathe, it didn't matter; he read tones well enough. Setting down against the bedside table again, he raised a hand to tip his hat- which unfortunately was not there- and morphed the movement halfway to rubbing his neck. "Well, if'n this lass thinks yer ain't in a good way, then it just ain't right t' leave you here all lonesome. Just ain't right."
